Gallery Hyundai is pleased to present Lee Kun-Yong, a solo exhibition of Lee Kun-Yong at Gallery Hyundai Dugahun.

The exhibition showcases two paintings from Lee Kun-Yong's acclaimed Bodyscape 76-3 series alongside fifteen drawings from the extended series, Bodyscape 76-3 Drawing.

The Bodyscape 76-3 series originates from the artist’s physical movements. Without looking at the canvas, Lee shifts his body’s direction while rhythmically moving his left and right hands, creating lines that record the traces of his actions. In this process, chance and intention intertwine, resulting in heart-like shapes on the canvas.

This series encapsulates Lee Kun-Yong's distinctive aesthetics and profound reflections on the body, place, and relationships, exploring the very essence of image-making as an artistic act.
